I understand this won Silver - Best In Class 2011 International Wine & Spirits Competition.
It's supposed to be offered at the LCBO in Ontario, Canada at some point I believe. Anybody try it yet? _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| I have had a few bottles of it and it an was outstanding expression of Glenfiddich, i wish i had bought more when it was available here at a drinkable price. I would say grab it if you can get it at a decent price. |

| I only tried a wee dram of it, but found it most enjoyable, not sure I'd pay silly prices for it, as the more rare it gets the higher the premium is put on it, though how much of that is worth it ans how much is because of the name, is an interesting debate. |

It was going for 89.00 Cdn but after doing some further searching, no LCBO outlets in and around my city have any left....bummer. I'll keep looking as the price was pretty good and I would like to try it. _________________ "Always carry a large flagon of whisky in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake."

| 89 dollars is a fantastic price for the Snow Phoenix! (especially given the prices for other malts you've spoken about) Grab it if you get the chance, here you'd be lucky to pay £89 on ebay for it. |

I've tried it, I thought it was OK but Glenfiddich just isn't my thing so don't take my opinion if you like the brand generally. At one point (last year even?) Waitrose Wine were selling it at £65 a bottle and I'm kicking myself I didn't buy a case. More recently they were selling it at £95 and now it seems to be all gone and selling for well over £100 on eBay. _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."

Can't find it anywhere in AUS haha.
Dan Murphy's had it on there website for $99AU but is sold out.
Someone on eBay AU is selling one for $450 AU. Surely that's over priced? |
