Bowmore releases the 1985 Vintage, which follows in the footsteps of the previous 1980s Vintage series.
Launching in July 2012, the Bowmore 1985 Vintage, which follows in the footsteps of the previous 1980s Vintage series which included the 1981, 1982 and 1983 (Travel Retail).
The Bowmore 1985 was created from a combination of hand-selected sherry and bourbon casks.
The Bowmore 1985 is a limited edition of only 747 bottles and has an RRP of £300. It was bottled at 52.3% ABV and it will be available from specialist whisky retailers from July 2012.

Have you tasted it William, i have a bottle of the 1981 and 1982 but would consider 2 of these (one for drinking and one for the collection) if it is particularly good, as a sherried Bowmore of this age is very appealing to me.

robbies drams still has some bowmore 1985 in stock retail at £325 if anybodies not got one yet  _________________ why oh why are we taxed to death, less tax more whisky |
