I signed up today for an advanced single malt scotch tasting in Oct in Burlington Ontario Canada hosted by the LCBO with higher end single malt scotches yet to be announced and when I reserved a place for myself I was told it will sell out in a week form now even though the event is in October. I'm wondering how fast people flock to tastings in Europe, Great Britain and elsewhere. The cost was $75.00 Canadian for my tasting event. Comments?

The Edinburgh Whisky Fringe is the only event i have had problems getting a ticket for, i think it is a lot to do with the time of year and the location of the event which makes it so popular. When i attend the Edinburgh Whisky Fringe i often take the wife and make it a weekend break.
