Believe it or not but due to a shortage of rain they have had to halt production at the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull due to a shortage of water. It has ceased making its whisky for the forseeable future after the loch from which it draws water dried up from a lack of rainfall.
Apparently they have had less than a fifth of its average rainfall in the first two weeks of June, though showers have been forecast for the forthcoming week. They say production will restart when the rain returns. Knowing the west of Scotland they probably wont have long to wait.

Having been to Mull plenty it's kind of hard to believe there's actually a drought! _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."

This has happened in the past at Tobermory but it is the first time since Burn Stewart Distillers have taken control of it. I doubt it will effect stock availability in the future
