Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has bought or ordered the Laphroaig Jubilee bottle.
At around £70/80 it seems a good price for a Jubilee edition, it is a normal 18yr but just with different packaging.
Cheers

I've ordered 3 Jubilee bottles and I am waiting for the delivery.
... but I am undecided: open one bottle to taste or preserve it with the hope that is revalued? |

If I was in your situation, and had 3 bottles in hand, I would definitely try one. Other bottles for other occasions will come up but enjoying a given moment with a dram only occurs once (that's the philosopher in me). Are the bottles also numbered or is it just the 18 in a numbered carton? _________________ Putting the func in dysfunctional. |

I saw this info,
""Each limited edition carton will display that it is only one of three thousand in existence and will contain the Double Gold Medal * winning Laphroaig 18 Year Old single malt (48% abv)." |

Yes it certainly looks like it. Which does seem a bit naff but on the other hand it is only £2 more expensive than the normal 18YO and not a rip like other 'jubilee' bottles.
Not sure how collectible it is though if it is just a batch of 18YO with a different tube ? _________________ In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king |
