Great news! Glen Keith has a really interesting history, it was used by Chivas as an experimental distillery. It originally had three stills for triple distillation, unusual in Speyside, the gas fired stills installed in 1971 were the first in Scotland and they developed new strains of yeast. They also dabbled with peating the water instead of the barley! _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."

| Yea great news about Glen Keith but i am sure the reopening will be more to do with supplying whisky to go into to the Chivas Brothers blends but hopefully we will see some single malt released in the future. |
