Forget the London Olympics 2012 now is the time for all Ardbeggians to get into training for the Ardbeg Day Islay-limpics 2012.
The 2nd June 2012 sees the very first Ardbeg Day and Ardbeg are inviting Ardbeggians from near and far, in fact, wherever you are, to celebrate with them.

| I wonder if the commemorative bottling of Ardbeg Day whisky will only be available on the 2nd June at the distillery and Ardbeg Embassies or if it will be available online to Ardbeg Committee members. |

I wonder if the Ardbeg Day whisky will be in addition to the annual Ardbeg Committee release or is it the Ardbeg Committee release for this year, i hope it is in addition to it as you can never get too many releases of different expressions of Ardbeg
Anyway, i have started my training tonight with a Ardbeg Corryvreckan |

| It would be great if it is in addition to the Committee bottling but i would doubt it, isnt the beginning of June when the Ardbeg Committee bottling would be due to get released. |

| The way it looks to me is the Ardbeg Day bottle will be a seperate bottling from the committee bottling, hopefully. A sherried Ardbeg similar to the Uigeadail would be nice as i cant get enough of the oogie |

I dont mind the marketing, it can be entertaining and it gets the news across. I just wish they had more of these Ardbeg embassies to support the marketing, only 2 in Scotland - Cupar and Edinburgh. At the very least you would think they would have one in Scotlands biggest city, Glasgow.
As you say Kava, hopefully there is a decent Ardbeg whisky behind the marketing. |

| i got an Ardbeg day poster also, i expect we will receive something closer to the day giving us more info on the day and the special bottling. I would guess the poster is the start of a build up to the day. |

| Yea got the poster today also, i dont like to seem ungrateful but i wish they would send something i can use, it doesnt need to be expensive such as a few disposablbe Ardbeg coasters. Like the paper beermats you would find in pubs. Now a few of them saying Ardbeg Day 2nd June i would have used on my computer desk. |
