Hi all, new member here, hello.
I was just curious to find out how everyone got on this afternoon with tickets. I've been to the event for the past three years and luckily managed to secure tickets again today.
The Sunday tickets went live first and I got them no problem. The Saturday tickets however were a different story altogether. It took me about 6 attempts and until 12:19 until they went through and I received my confirmation. I was actually surprised the Saturday tickets were still available by that time, but I imagine others had the same issue as me, which was that the website kept failing to return whilst authorising payment? The website was running like a half dead donkey at that point, the mad rush of customers was evident and added to the stress! I see they sold out at 12:20 so I imagine many like me got them just in time. |

| I was busy at work and didnt get the time to go online at midday, by the time i did get online they were sold out. I really wish they would release the tickets on a weekend when people are not at work. |

| The Saturday tickets were the last ones to appear on the site, about 12-14 & they went very quickly. I managed to get mine & very much looking forward to it after being there on the Sunday last year. |

|
|
Hi all:
Has anyone received their tickets yet? The website used to say they'd be posted 3 weeks before, which has now changed to two weeks before. I phoned them at the end of last week and they said they should be posted out this week, but so far nothing. |

The tickets have arrived! Or so I'm reliably informed by my friend who very kindly phoned up for them.
Anyway, with this now being but a small number of days away (I'm going on the Saturday), does anybody know the following. . .
1) What is the format of the day? Are there just lots of stalls, each having a number of whiskies available to try?
2) What sort of whisky is available, as in standard supermarket fayer, or more unusual stuff?
3) Can you buy bottles from the event it's self? Are they discoutned on the day?
4) Does anyone know where I can get a list of the distilleries / stalls that will be at the event? And also what offerings they will have?
I'm like a child at Christmas!! |

Just got my tickets on Saturday and, yes, they had advised they would be sent out three weeks before.
Anyone seen any official or unofficial line-up? Ideally I'd like to plan my visit out a bit, i.e. start in the Lowlands, end up on Islay. _________________ "Whisky is liquid sunshine."
