| I gave up the cigars a few years ago but i used to enjoy whiskies from Macallan, Aberlour and Glenfarclas along with a cigar. |

| Like James i have long gave up the cigars, i wasnt a heavy smoker but cut them out about 10 years ago now. I still sometimes get the urge and i did enjoy a cigar with a whisky on the odd ocassion. Generally i found that the stronger the cigar the heavier sherried the whisky had to be to be a good pairing. I also enjoyed the peatier whiskies with a cigar especially the peaty/sherried whiskies such as Lagavulin distillers edition and Ardbeg Uigeadail. I dare say the Aberlour a'bunadh goes very well with a cigar. |
