Spotted this story in the last weekends Sunday Post newspaper, just getting the chance to post it now.
Whisky Grab
A shipment of rare Scotch whisky worth tens of thousands of pounds has been pilfered by a gang of criminal connoisseurs.
Three pallets equating to over 1200 bottles, were stolen from a lorry as it was parked for the night in services off the A1 in the north of Huntingdonshire.
Two pallets of rare Bruichladdich single malt and a pallet of Springbank single malt were taken in the slash and grab.
The discerning crooks, however, left the rest of th lorry's load of less expensive spirits untouched.
The haul included Bruichladdich's Cask Strength Port Charlotte which sells for £60 a bottle and Redder Still, which retails at around £100 perr bottle.

Well I have an alibi.
I wonder if this means there could be a shortage of Port Charlotte 6.
I did notice The Whisky Exchange has sold out already.

I would assume the theft would have some effect on PC's availability in the UK.

Hi Mac,
There are still 7 bottles of PC6 in the Whisky Shop in Dufftown. I wonder where they came from . . . . . . . . .
