Some of you may have already heard a couple of months ago that Rachel Barrie was joining Morrison Bowmore Distillers as Master Blender.
Rachel was previously Product Development Manager at The Glenmorangie Company and was responsible for creating some of their best whiskies including Glenmorangie Signet and Ardbeg Corryvreckan.
I look forward to seeing what Rachel will do at Morrison Bowmore.
Morrison Bowmore have today just sent me the official press release announcing Rachels appointment which you can read here:

| Hopefully Rachel can do for Morrison Bowmores whiskies what she done for Glenmorangies and we might see some some good new expressions from Morrison Bowmore soon. |

I heard of this move near the end of last year, quite a loss for Glenmo and a gain for Bowmore i would think. |

| I wonder if they will have any plans to perhaps tweak the core ranges of of any of Morrison Bowmores brands. |
