Not the best place for post game drinks (closed to diners only after 630pm) but the bar at the amber restraunt downstairs at the Whisky Experince on the royal mile has a massive selection and decent prices

To drown your sorrows Smile and if you only have time to visit one bar i would also recommend the Whiski Bar which is situated half way down Edinburghs Royal Mile, great food and a big varied selection of malt whisky.

All good sugestions above, closer to the ground the Athletic Arms have over 200 malts although not the most direct route to the match from the centre of town.

Kenny M & edinburghlandlord

Thank you both for your replies, I have decided to visit the Whiski Bar to drown my sorrows, it is handy for my hotel and from what I have learned it sounds just what I am looking for, thank you.
