Gents,
Was wondering if you had any thoughts on that one
http://www.whiskymag.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14019
It will retail at 500GBP in Feb 2012. As it is my birth year (yes, I am that old.. ) i am thinking of buying that bottle to add to the collection.
Any thoughts?
cheers

| The Glenfiddich Vintage Reserve range is certainly very collectable and I dont think you could go wrong buying one. If the Glenfiddich 1974 Vintage Reserve is rated as highly as the 1973 then i dont think you can go wrong whether it is an investment or to drink. I havent seen any reviews of the 1974 anywhere but it was selected by a big enough panel of people who you would think could recognise a good Glenfiddich when they see one. |

A limited edition Glenfiddich is always a good buy and the vintage reserve series has done very well as an investment and in reviews. I wish my birth year was 1974, i think i would need a mortgage to buy a Glenfiddich distilled in my birth year. My point being, the longer you leave it to buy a bottle from 1974 the more expensive it will be.
If you do go for a bottle and open it, let us know what you think of it. |
