Does anyone have any ideas to value, commercial or otherwise. |

| Steve you say bottled 1980, what year was it distilled? G & M bottles often state both the year the whisky was distilled and the year it was bottled. These dates can make quite a difference to its value. |

| Fergie, distilled in 1980. I thought most malts quoted the age of the whisky eg have a bottle of dalmore that states "12 years old". The DD gives no age but as said does state "distilled 1980 distilled". I got the bottle out of the box, there is a small rectangular label on the neck that says bottled in 2001, this has caused further confusion as a sister believed in was one of 6 bottles given to my Father back in the 80's. Obviously not the case. |

| I would say you would probably pay around £50 - £70 in a shop for a bottle of Dallas Dhu 1980 botlled 2001. You may get a little less in a private sale |
