| Hello, I am looking around for some experienced whiskey advice! I recently was given a Lagavulin 16 year 0.7 litre bottle, unopened, purchased in 1989. Would the age of the whiskey (an accumulated 38 years) affect the flavour, and what would be its current retail value? |

Hi there Lewis , the 16 yr old is still a 16 yr old as it does not age once it is bottled , as for value check out eBay , mctears Or scotch whisky auctions.
Cheers Alan. |

| Is this the White Horse Label one if bought in 89, probably worth about £60(£75 retail) |
