Can anyone help with a valuation on the following bottles.
Glen Elgin Limited Centenary Bottling, 19 yr old cask strength, 1of 750 bottled. 70cl
Directors Blend 2005. An exclusive blend of old and rare whiskeys from Diageo's 27 malt and 2 grain distilleries. 70cl (only available to employees)
Mortlach Managers Dram 2002, 19 yr old, numbered bottle, 70cl
Strathmill Managers Dram 2003, 15 yr old, numbered bottle, 70cl
Glenlossie Managers Dram 2004, 12 yr old, numbered bottle,70cl
All bottles are in perfect unopened condition, have been stored and not on display and remain full into the neck...any advice would be welcome. |

Mortlach 19 yr old is for sale in royal mile whiskies for £170.
If your selling I would expect half to two thirds of that so £85 to £125.
The best way to check is google each individual bottle and add the word buy or price.
This usually works for me and thats how I found the one above .
Cheers Alan. |

Glen Elgin 19 yr old centenary £200 to £280 so about £120 to £180
Directors blend £125 to£155 so £65 to £100
Strathmill managers dram £150 to £180 so £80 to £120
Glenlossie managers dram £175 so £90 to £120
All in all some pretty good bottles .
If selling private you'd be hoping to get the higher estimate .
If you don't sell the value of Whisky will only increase especially with limited editions that are numbered and only made in small quantities ! Or you could drink the lot !
Cheers Alan .
Hope this helps! |

Cheers Alan, appreciate your help. I purchased 2 of each managers dram so they have been tasted, and I decided I would just sell the rest. I'm not a collector and pointless them taking up space in a cupboard. I did have an offer from a whiskey web site but offering bottom price so I'll go with the private sale as you've suggested.
