Catto's blended Scotch whisky are launching a Limited Edition 25 year old to celebrate the brand's 150th Anniversary. Unfortunately this is a whisky which mainly goes to the export market and is difficult to get a hold of in the UK, which is a pity as Catto's Rare Old Scottish blend is very good and Catto's 25 year old which i had the pleasure of last night is excellent. Anyway one to look out for on your travels if you are ever looking for something different to try.
I have had a bottle of Catto's Rare Old Scottish and it was very good, someone brought it from Mexico for me. Jim Murray rates it highly in the Whisky Bible, he described it as one of the regular blends he drinks at home. I wish i knew where he can buy it regularly in the UK.
