I was just looking at the Bruichladdich 18 Year Old 1st Edition over at The Whisky Exchange, they have a £10 off offer on it, now £49.95. i just wondered if anyone has had it and what did they think of it

This is the one which was matured in Bourbon casks and then in Willi Opitz red pinot wine casks. It is full of toffee, vanilla and fruity red wine and raisins, dry and oaky.
Fergie if you enjoy the red wine influenced style of whisky then i would say go for it. |

| Vanilla and toffee from the bourbon cask and citrus fruit from the wine cask quite drying finish, worth a try for £50, i would rate it about 80/100 |
