Drink them both!
There is so many of each bottle availble!
My recomendation is any Offical Bottles under 1000 are collectable! |

As Jab says drink em... well at least one of each, there are many ways of collecting whisky, distillery only, indies, all same, years, etc... its easier to buy what you like to drink, find more rare versions and collect these.... whatever you choose to do you will have fun doing it although you may/will become poorer.... |

personally I'd say any limited edition is collectible regardless of how many bottles are produced _________________ In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king |

limited edition iconic brands like Glenfiddich will always be very collectable and the Snow Phoenix is no exception IMO especially as it is also a very good whisky to drink. If you are looking to make money on this one or any whisky you should be looking to hold on to it for 5 to 10 years.
Personally i am not sure if the Shackleton Mackinlay will be a great investment as there was an awful lot of it released and IMO it was overpriced although i have tasted it and it is a very good whisky i am not sure if it will ever make you a penny profit, well art least in the next 10 years.
You will never go wrong with limited editions of certain brands such as Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Brora, Highland Park, Bowmore to name a few. |

One thing to add... snow phoenix = 60,000 bottles,
Shackletons = 50,000 bottles.... why is Snow phoenix a better choice ?
I may be wrong on above numbers but im sure they are right.....and the shackletons is a very nice drink with a great story, so this alone makes it worth holding on to..... as for snow pheonix it is also a fantastic drink with a good story but is half the price so it is also worth buying and drinking and saving for another day !!!!!!! |
