| Not really an important question but i was just wondering when did they start chill filtering whisky, does anyone know? Obviouslly more in modern times i would think, just wondered if anyone knows as i dont recall seeing it mentioned anywhere. |

| I am sure i have read somewhere that chill filtration came in in the 1960s, it is common in both whisky and wine and i would suspect in its early days it was done more so in wine. |
