As the alcohol strength on the label states it is 43%vol, i would think if it was bottled for the UK market and not the US market and as it is a 1 litre bottle it may have been bottled for the UK duty free.
In the UK up until 1980 standard size bottles were 26 2/3 flozs, they then changed to 750ml in 1980. As the bottle size is 1 litre it certainly would have been bottled after 1980.
IMO a 1980s bottle perhaps for the UK duty free shops, you would maybe pay £400 - £500 in a shop for this today and £200 - £300 in a private sale but that is just my opinion. |
