i have stopped buying Kilchoman, i bought some at first out of interest and it does look like it will be good when it comes of age but i have decided to wait until their whisky comes of age as i dont really collect it so paying collectable prices for young whisky doesnt make sense to me. Almost £70 for a 5 year old whisky to drink, makes no sense |

| Totally agree Calder, i wish they would release their young whisky at a drinkable price. It baffles me how it can be so collectable before it is really established, i think it should become collectable and not get released as collectable at a collectable price. No doubt it is a decent young whisky which may be a a very good whisky when it comes of age but for now i can get some very good whisky to drink for £69 |

same for the english whisky co. i've only had 1 bottle and it shows promise but not going to spend 35/40 + a bottle when I could get some great scotch for that. I guess its just such a competitive market place and new distilleries have to meet their overheads whilst they mature older stock! |

| It is understandable that they are trying to generate some income while the main bulk of their stock matures but £69 and even worse £149 for whisky which is only few years old is too much. |

Hey JAB,
May I ask how you managed to buy the Cask Strength? Is there a way to get it posted, or did you actually go to islay?
Thanks,
