I had a friend that used to work in j walkers years ago and he got me a bottle of blue label old style box with a lid , I was trying to value and have noticed the old style box is worth a bit more than the normal ones. The problem I have is that on the label there is a faint red diagonal line as if marked so as not to resell in a shop does this take from the value ! And what would the value be? Any help welcome. Cheers Alan.

My guess would be the red line would make it more unique and possibly more collectable.

I think you are right Kenny the red stripe were some sort of duty/tax/export related thing. I also recall seeing it in the past, maybe they still use it in some countries.
