Any one interested in buying a barrel of Bowmore??
12 yo refill bourbon barrel distilled at Bowmore
Single malt whisky, distilled at Bowmore Distillery on 25th September 1998
Details were correct at the time of gauging on 4th April 2011.
Each cask is priced at £25.52 per regauged litre of alcohol.

Regauged Bulk Litres - 143.94
Regauged Strength - 61.9
Regauged Litres of pure alcohol - 89.1

| I have thought about this before and it can work out not too bad a price per bottle but ultimately what put me off is spending so much on so many bottles the same and i like a variety. |

i could imagine my wifes face if i come home and said i`ve bought a barrel.she goes ape when i buy a bottle...would be a good idea if enough people went into it though _________________ why oh why are we taxed to death, less tax more whisky |

Hi all,
Have just been reading your opinions and I have to agree - Only madmen or groups should want to buy so many bottles of the same whisky. Unless of course you have a sales outlet.
I'll maybe get around to bottling one of these casks of Bowmore if any remain unsold- I have bottled other whiskies including a 27 year old Caol Ila, which are available on my website. They should appeal more to whisky drinkers.
