|
|
I have an unopened corked bottle of 1947 MacNaughton's Canadian Whisky in the maple leaf glass liquor decanter with lead crystal stopper. The bottle has a green Michigan Liquor Control Commission stamp and is sealed with red print US Internal Revenue Taxation Distilled Spirits 4/5 Quart Bottle Stamp tape that says Schenley Import Ration New York 36A5454435 and a Canadian Excise Stamp with the dates 1947 and the number B8714180. There is a square gold MacNAUGHTON'S label on the front and back of the bottle has the description label and addresses. I believe this is the first year of that Schenley introduced the MacNaughton blend and I am curious as to the value of this bottle that was gifted to me upon my birth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
