Does nobody else think that filling in all the your details, as well as your credit card details complete with security code on a spreadsheet and then emailing it insecurely is a bit off?
I am sure if you ask your bank whether this is okay they would tell you not to do it. If you think email is secure, think again. _________________ Rob Hughes

It appears that the excel form is encrypted in some way, i it appears to change the last digit of your 16 digit card number to a "0". Not the greatest security really. |

Thanks William ! Filled out the form and send it back.
Perhaps it was indeed better to sell this bottle at the online shop. It feels more secure than mailing the info. |

I shall be ringing up to arrange shipment. Judging by the posts here this isn't normal. I was told bottle 500 is not available I guess loads have asked about it.

I was emailed back by Eleanor at around 5pm, saying I can call tomorrow and pay over the phone, and that there were plenty of bottles left and I can buy more than 1.
I think I'll get a couple, to go with the 21 YO single cask Glen Garioch I bought yesterday too. _________________ Rob Hughes

John | I am sure many may have been put off by the insecure set up to place an order. But some have obviously placed an order and they really should be contacting people who may not be aware that the security of there bank card details may have been compromised because of them. |

I am surprised a whisky company like Glenfiddich didnt take more control of this set up. Sounds like they have certainly compromised peoples personal and banking details with the set up they have used to take orders which is quite unbelievable. |
