Bowmore 1983 28yo Vintage £350 | Not a bad price for the Bowmore "Laimrig" 15yo considering it is a limited edition and cask strength |

There was a Bowmore Laimrig 15 year old limited edition released exclusively in Sweden.
It was bottled at cask strength 50,3% abv, matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks for another 5 years in ex-Oloroso casks. It was a limited edition of 4500 bottles and as i said only available in Sweden. I believe Laimrig is gaelic for pier. I think it was released in 2009.
Anyway i wonder if the Bowmore Feis Ile bottling will be the same as the Swedish release. |

Yes the Feis Ile one is limited to 500 bottles! so good price at £50
The Laimrig was or should a say is being relaunched in sweeden this month! it was ment to be availible from march 1st but has been put back to 4th april! But i have herd it is going to be launched Worldwide so i can only imagine the Feis Ile release is to promote this!

| The Feis Ile Bowmore Laimrig may then be more collectable if they intend to follow it up with a general release worldwide. |

Rumours are there are 1000 bottles for sweeden with another 4000 for surrounding countries being release on 4/4/11 with a world wide general release later in year taking it up to 19000 bottles!
Like i said above cannot confirm this yet!
Only thing thats has been confirmed is 500 limited edition bottles for the feis ile! along with the 100 bottles of the 28yo 1983 vintage!
