| In January Springbank will release a Springbank 18 year old and a Hazelburn Sauterne, then in May the Kilkerran (WIP) Work in Progress 3 which they hope to have available at the Springbank Open Day. July will see a Longrow 18 year old and in September a further Hazelburn 12 year old. |

I believe it is on Thursday 19th May but dont quote me on that just yet or go booking any travel or accommodation just yet. If it is the 19th May it should tie in well for those travelling to the Islay Festival, Fèis Ìle which will run from 21st to 28th May 2011. Then you can stop off at the Arran open day on the way back from Islay which takes place on Sunday 29th May. |

I'm hooked on their two different ten years. I'd love to purchase an 18. Is it incredible smooth, because I really enjoy the coal roast peat flavor on the back end? Awesome release/great news.
Cheers,

| Swift Springbank 18 is sherried, the 1st release was more heavily sherried than the 2nd but both were very good indeed. The 1st release is still available in shops but prices are over £100 for it now but you can get the 2nd for around £60. I havent had the pleasure of the latest 3rd release yet but i am sure it will be worth a try. |
