Hi all i have been looking at buying 2 bottles of kilchoman from the USA from binnys, but just wondering the shipping costs?

Has any one purchased anything from them and had it sent to the uk? if so how much did this cost you?

Incase any one is wondering what bottles i am talking about -

phoned the company $140 for shipping to the uk Sad

Think this is a little OTT considering the bottles cost that themselfs!

then you have the chance of customs getting a hold of them and charging duty ontop of this!!! Rolling Eyes

I'd be happy to receive the bottles for you on my end and re-ship over The Pond. I'm sure it would be significantly cheaper than having Binny's send it directly to the UK. I've sent several bottles of whisky to friends in the UK with no problem, and would be happy to provide references if you like. I'm just hoping I can ask to have the favor returned one day.

Thanks for the offer jason and i will keep it in mind.

I am actually in contact with some 1 state side that is willing to do the same for me and like your self ships them to the uk and europe alot, and all he asks is the favour is returned also.

He is in chigago, so close to one of the shops.

I bought a bottle the other day and have to say it's vastly superior to the Summer 2010 release. Kilchoman needs the extra oomph from being cask strength - the Summer 2010 suffered from being too watered down.
