I spotted one of these at World Duty Free in Glasgow last week, it looked good although the design makes the level in the decanter look quite low. I was in a hurry and didnt have time to pick one up
So are you after a bottle JAB |

I had forgottten about it until i saw your post, i meant to try and get a hold of some info on it and the new "Bowmore Premier Range" and post it on the site.
I can only afford to look at whiskies in this price range also, pity as Bowmore turn out some excellent older whiskies.
This isnt so new though, wasnt this bottle released a couple of years ago, 2008 i think or am i confusing it with something else. |

Think it is new as the tag on the neck is the same as the new 28yo vintage!
Would be nice to go on a bowmore super master class tasting and try some of these but even that would cost you a fortune! (If there even is one) |

Found this from December 2008:
www.lussorian.com/luxury/comments/1965-bowmore-single-malt-scotch-whisky/2008-12-01/
Also from the Breeze Creative website June 2008

So i think it has been around since 2008 but most of us were unlikely to to have come across it as it was exclusive to World Duty Free.
If you dont happen to win the lottery this weekend here is a tasting note from WDFs World of Whiskies.
| Quote: | | Golden honey in colour with intense aromas of lychees, mango and orange chocolate infused with a gentle hint of Bowmore smoke. The palate is rewarded with light exotic fruits, balanced with delicate smoked oak wood. The finish is long, luxurious and silky smooth. |
One of the best events to taste premium whiskies in the UK is The Whisky Show in London, most of the whisky companies at the show have some of there premium stuff available to try. I see the 2011 show is at The Brewery on the 28th-29th October. |

| I have never come across this one before either. Wont that amount of air in the decanter effect the whisky. |
