| I've a minibond for the Founders reserve but they've 'Sold out' and have just offered me a case of 10yo (worth half as much) instead. Has this happened to anyone else and should I accept it or hold out for something better? |

I am not too sure what you mean by minibond. I know that in 1993 bonds were sold to help fund the building of Arran Distillery. These bonds, which were priced at £450 each entitled the bearer to receive 72 bottles of Lochranza blend and 72 bottles of Arran Founders Reserve single malt in 2001.
I assume your minibond is a part share (correct me if i am wrong). How many bottles of the Founders Reserve were you entitled to get? |

| I am not sure of the numbers of bottles involved but Arran 10 year does not replace the Founders Reserve which is destined to to continue increasing in value |

What are we looking for a case of 10 - £180?
I'd hold out, if indeed you took out a bond at £450 or halfbond £225 what they are offering is nowhere near the value.
I presume the bond will affectively be a contract I presume, so they are relying on people taking the offer of the 10 before they actually have to sit down and think exactly what they are going to do.

| hi guys, i also am a mini bond holder which entitled me to 12 bottles of founders reserve, i have also been in touch with the company and have been offered 12 bottles of 10 year old!!!, though im not an expert, i thought buying a bond meant that 12 bottles worth would be stored in a barrel for when i decided to cash in my bond!! should i play hardball as the company have been putting my whisky into their blend "lochranza founders reserve"???? |
