Just noticed that The Whisky Exchange has had a bit of a face lift. Not sure i am keen on it as you cant expand the images of each bottle as much as you used to which i found handy especially when there was a lack of info on the bottle on the page. The ability to filter the search results is very good though.

yeh see what you mean with the bottle image sizes, i also liked the navigation menu permanently on the left, not keen on the drop down boxes. The filter is good when you for example go to the ardbeg page but if you have typed ardbeg into the search box you dont get the filter facility so a bit inconsistent. Also the search result page looks a big empty page without the menu at the side.

I suppose everything new takes a bit of getting used to but i have to say i preferred the old version of the site. The filter facility is good but that is the only improvement i see.

It's not too bad... just a few subtle changes here and there. Agree with you that the navigation is an improved system.
Hopefully will have something from here in my stocking from Father Christmas in a couple of days time!
