No i didnt order one JAB but i was very tempted, i just dropped by here to let others know, it was a mate who told me about it today but i resisted the temptation as i have spent just over Â£1500 this month on whisky so i am trying to restrain myself a bit, although i may have a bit of a spending spree next month for christmas and a nice new year bottle perhaps Very Happy

I have spent far to much on whisky recently as well! maybe not as much as you yet but will be close to that once i receive my Bowmore 1981 vintage edition.

And will be buying a Bottle of Bowmore 1963 30yo!

i never heard about this on until this evening so i guess it will be sold out by now, i was told it was a 2000 vintage single cask Ardbeg, 240 bottles, Â£110

I would think it sold out today as most of these distillery only single cask Ardbeg releases do.

I still think they over price their own single cask stuff. Â£110 should get a 30+ year old single cask.
Still, I will have a beautiful sounding 10 Yr old single cask Ardbeg and a 16 yr old Caol Ila single cask arriving tomorrow.

I would love to buy this and drink it but not at this price, I think these young Ardbeg single casks are priced more for the collectors than the drinkers. I will stick to the Ardbeg 10, Uigeadail and Corryvreckan for now, i think they will satisfy my Ardbeg cravings for a lot less money. Although I am sure collectors will still make money out of the bottle as there are always over seas buyers who simply cannot get a hold of these bottles for themselves.
