Not long finished a bottle of last years Lagavulin 12 special release, excellent, wish i could get a hold of another bottle, a friend brought it back from Scotland for me. Anyway i am sure this years Lagavulin wont disappoint.

A few of the usual suspects - at the top end Port Ellen, Talisker and Brora and the good value Lagavulin 12 and Caol Ila 12 unpeated. The Brora price does seem to be creeping up now, i wonder how much stock they have left.

The Cragganmore 21 year old may be interesting and not too bad a price at £135 for a cask strength 21 year old.

The Whisky Exchange added all the new 2010 special releases to the site yesterday if anyone is interested. The Brora 30 is sold out already.

Just spotted the 2010 special releases had been added to the shop, the Brora didnt stay on the shelf long, i am sure we will see these Broras exchanging hands in 10 or so years time for loads of money.
