I've had this bottle for years, apparently the distillery concerned closed down and it is now quite rare. I'm looking for a valuation and some suggestions for where I might sell it.
Any advice in this regard would me much appreciated |

Your right Lochside distillery is closed, it was a relatively short lived distillery, it was owned by Chivas Brothers, it was founded in 1957 and closed in 1992. It will never reopen as it was demolished in 2005.
Official bottlings like this are very rare. You will find that the Lochside 10 year old bottle you have is currently for sale at The Whisky Exchange for £250

Thanks for that. Was just doing some research and noticed a few places selling for £200ish a bottle. Do many sales take place on this forum? I'd like to try and sell it here as it seems like I'd have the best chance of finding a buyer somewhere like this. |

| Not really sure if many bottles are sold here, these things are private transactions, the forum does recommend using somewhere like ebay to protect both the buyer and the seller. |
