I've just opened a very old (1960's) bottle of "Short's Very Old Scotch Whisky" which tastes incredible !
It is silky smooth with a light peat finish and certainly tastes 'single' rather than blended.
it was the 'house whiskey of Shorts wine house in london (strand) which closed in the early 70's
If anyone has ANY information on what this fantastic whiskey is, then I would be very gratefull to hear from you. |
