|

I meant to post about the Dalmore Trinitas this morning, been a busy day, but better late than never.
Dalmore have released the worlds most expensive whisky, The Dalmore 64 Trinitas.
There were only 3 bottles produced and the price tagged was an incredible £100,000 and unbelievably they have sold 2 bottles, one of which went to Sukhinder Singh who you may know from the whisky specialists The Whisky Exchange another bottle was purchased by US buyer Mahesh Patel.
To read more about this very rare whisky and watch a video see here:

I liked the video, amazing stuff, even just to see it on video. £100000 an unbelievable amount of money for a single bottle. What else has Mr Paterson got access to, what is he going to release next. I cant believe that it contains some whisky from 1868. 1878, 1926 and 1939. I wouldnt mind a few hours sampling in the Dalmore archives.
I suppose there is always hope of me owning a bottle if they have only sold 2 out of 3 bottles. |

WOW £100,000 for one bottle, totally beats the prvious record. I think this one will stand for a while. I guess it was the content of the 1868 and 1878 whisky which demanded this amount.
Mac never mind the Dalmore archives, give me a few hours in Sukhinder Singhs collection, i am sure you wont find a better collection. |

I see they have the third bottle listed on The Whisky Exchange for £100000, i thought it may have increased in value with it being the last remaining bottle |

Just done a search for Indonesian patchouli and got this:
Distinctive and memorable, the herbaceous and musky aroma of finest Patchouli oil has a satisfying earthy quality.
It also says:
Patchouli is reputedly also a wonderful aphrodisiac |

I have to say it really is an obscene amount of money to spend on a single bottle of whisky and i would just like to add i wish i had that amount of money to spend on whisky
