| Yes a great day. A great event for trying the affordable core range of the distilleries that were there and it was good to refresh my memory with a few i hadnt tried in a while. Particularly enjoyed the Bunnahabhain 18 and Talisker distillers edition. |

I am sure the guy on the Kilchoman stall told me about a whisky that was being released in November, i may have it wrong but i thought he was referring to the 100%, as i said i had quite a few drams |

I agree a great day.
So that was your bus parked outside John.
I had some of the Douglas Laing Old & Rare Port Ellen 30 also, it was excellent as is all the DL bottlings of Port Ellen i have tried. I would say it was my dram of the day.
Tried the Great King Street blend from Compass Box, good to see a quality blend at a whisky tasting event.
Got a sample of the Tweeddale blend which i will try some night this week. I have seen it at a few whisky events in the past year but havent tried it yet so i am looking forward to giving it a go.
They were generous as ever at the Glenfarclas stall, a great selection including a few Family Cask botllings 1961, 1971 and 1991 which were all excellent. |

| Yes it is always a good stop-over at the Glenfarclas stall at a whisky event, it is good marketing IMO as i have bought some of the more expensive Glenfarclas whisky in the past after being impressed with it at a tasting event. |
