I managed to make it to kilchoman on the thursday morning and got myself the Feis Ile bottle and then over to Jura for the day.

Jura was a really good day, First i started off with Richard Paterson in the warehouse with a nosing to help select the next special bottling of jura, there where around 14 to choose from and at the end of the festival the one that had the most votes would be selected.

Next we had a tasting of Jura Boutique Barrels: 1993, 1995, 1999 with Willie Tait

We finnished off with a wee tour around the Distillary that ended in a tasting of the Jura Prophecy (a nice dram)

I also treated myself to the 3 Jura Boutique 1993 1995 1999.

I liked the nosing of 1993 the best but the taste of the 1995 just seemed to tase alot nicer than the other two it just seemed to sit on the palet alot nicer and had a hint of sweetness and coconut.
