hello
I have an unopen bottle of whyte&Mackays blended scotch whisky found in an old warehouse in seattle washington,,,during the remodel,,the label is still readable and the seal is in fine shape,,,it appears to be from around the 1860-1890 from what I was told that is when they stop blowing glass bottles,,,I would like to sell the bottle ,,, thanks scott,,,, |

Hi Scott
What an amazing find. If the bottle is from the time period you say it could be very valuable indeed. You say the seal is in good shape, what is the level of whisky in the bottle like? Do you have some images you can post.
Also you may be interested in this bottle of Glenavan from the 1850's which sold for £14,850 (almost $30,000 i think) at auction a couple of years ago. You can read about it here: http://www.scotchmaltwhisky.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=72
