With more and more distilleries opening in Scotland and more official and independent bottlings available, one has to be more discerning in their purchases. I am interested in which of these brands hit the mark in this regard for you.

| Off the top of my head, things I would always like on my shelf, would be: Ledaig, Kilkerran, Port Charlotte, Edradour, Arran, Laphroaig. |

| Ledaig 10 and 18 are always good pours and i am in the process of discovering Glenallachie, their 12 year old is particularly good. Not a fan of Arran. |
