Hi - I have a bottle of Bells whisky, still sealed but without box, which was imported to South Africa by E.W Sedgwick & Co (Pty) Ltd, Cape Town - this info is printed on the label on the reverse of the bottle, together with the index number 67447 - HFX2.
Can anyone help in narrowing down the year for me please, and perhaps a value?
Non-export versions are currently going for between £20-£30, not much I'm afraid. You might fetch a little more for it being an export, but best bet is probably to open it and enjoy some history.
