I’m done here for now. I’m going down to my temperature controlled, underground cellar for the next two hours to count my bottles of whisky, whiskey, gin, rum, brandy and bourbon...or maybe I’ll spend one hour down there and just count my rare and limited editions 🤣 |

Code might still be valid, reports of code being valid for longer than 24 hours.
Been issuing these winner emails for over 2 weeks but still not sold the allocation, odd given there are so few bottles. |

All I know is that they told me I only had 24 hours from receiving the email to make the purchase then it would be allocated to someone else. |

You may have noticed I have edited out some replies on this thread, not something I like to do. On this occasion it appears that there has been a misunderstanding of agrabin's intentions as he/she hadn't made it 100% clear that they were offering the Karuizawa Shibari ballot code for free and posting on a Whiskies For Sale Forum I can see how members could have assumed the code was for sale.
I edited a few posts and I would just remind everyone that the rules of the SMW Forum are simple always be polite when replying to other members and please respect other users of this forum at all times. If you have a problem with a post just give me a shout.
Cheers folks. _________________ There's no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky. |

Please accept my most sincere apologies. It was never my intention to deceive or elicit any financial gain. I thought the best place to post my offer would be in the for sale forum which is where I guessed most people would see it. It’s only now I realise that naturally people would assume that if it’s in the for sale section then it must be for sale. I promise to be more careful in future when posting. |

I got a code too. However it was a cash only purchase. Which put me off. I don't like the idea of wiring someone $58k. I prefer the level of security offered by a credit card. And did I mention the $58k bit? Still. 10 years from now. When the karuizawa casks are all gone... It's probably a good buy. |
