Just hope it's the same Glen Marnoch as last year with an extra year. However, they did a 24yo Glen Marnoch in 2012 which wasn't so great.....so it may be different stuff.

Is there anything left of the old distillery? According to my copy of scotch missed the whole lot was razed in 2002 and then a rebuild started nearby in 2008 which was cleaned out by metal thieves.

Aberlour A'Bunadh is inside that budget and a fantastic whisky if you want to try a sherried one. It's ok most supermarkets too.
