When i fancy a sherried malt i go for Balvenie Doublewood. For a hit of peat Lagavulin is my favourite. The Talisker 18 is also a favourite. Like Samson, i have a lot more favourites, lol.

I havent seen the 2009 book available in any book shops yet either but you can get a signed copy direct from Dram Good Books web site.

That is quite a difference in price Alastair, £255. I usually assume the drink shop is slightly more expensive, just shows it is always worth checking both shops.

He doesnt say which whisky he drinks.
I have had a couple of whiskies in the past which were more likely to shorten you life than lengthen it.
