The Daily Pint - 200+ whiskies including a lot of unusual independent bottlings. Besides the expensive malts the bar is very casual.

7 Grand - Also 200+ whiskies but mainly origin ...

White Horse 12 is one of the best inexpensive blends I've tried, can't taste the grain at all. But for the price, why not get a vatted malt like Hogshead?

I tried the 1955 at WhiskyFest in San Francisco last year, very tasty. Too bad the old ones are so pricey.
