Glendronach 12 is very good for the money.

Second this, although I'd normally put the A'Bunadh in a different class given it's cask strength (and a different class from most sherried Scotches).

Once bottled there shouldn't be any aging of the whisky, only degradation if not stored properly.

So the bottle shouldn't really increase in value save someone with some esoteric interest in a slig ...
