William
Morrison's Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh, clean, perhaps a little shy, a very gentle
vanilla sweetness, hint of toffee, a
little coconut some distant candied
orange and lemon.
Taste: A lovely creamy
vanilla tablet, touch of liquorice,
orange, sugar coated almonds.
Finish: Medium to long.
Delicious, slowly fading sweet oak spice
and vanilla, poached pear, a touch of
mildly drying sherry.
Comment:
The marriage in first fill Oloroso
sherry casks must have been brief, no
big in your face sherry influence but in
has added a lovely delicate sherry
influence which becomes more apparent on
the finish after a few mouthfuls. A
fresh, clean blended grain whisky, a
good quality easy dramming whisky. An
ideal dessert dram or for relaxing on a
warm summer evening.
