Hi it is a bit rich for my pocket but i just thought i would mention that i have seen these bottles do well at auction so it may be worth considering. Also may be worth contacting The Whisky Exchange who also buy rare whisky. |

Hi
There are 2 main auctioneers that specialise in selling rare and collectable whisky.
The fisrt one is Bonhams auctioneers in Edinburgh
http://www.bonhams.com/cgi-bin/public.sh/pubweb/publicSite.r?sContinent=EUR&screen=Whisky
Bonhams offers free and confidential valuations with a view to selling. Contact Martin Green whisky@bonhams.com Telephone 01292 520 000
The second one is Mctears in Glasgow. See Mctears website for contact details. www.mctears.co.uk
As Archer said you can contact The Whisky Exchange via there website, just click The Whisky Exchange banner at the top of the page to visit there website. In fact The Whisky Exchange have a bottle like yours available at present for £1532.
Whoever you contact supply them with as much details as you can, such as does it have the original box/presentation case, does it have the certificate which came in the box, condition of bottle and box/presentation case, bottle number. Also supply them with a couple of photos of the bottle and case.
Good luck and be sure to come back to let us know how you get on, i always like to hear how much rare bottles like this sells for. |
