Nose
There is spice on the nose, faint ginger mixed with cola cube sugared sweets (I am showing my age now).
After a minute or so an orange note appears which remids me of faint Lucozade?
I like the nose on this.
Palate
The palate is fizzy with some orange spices and then a slight cardboard note is there, more drying than cardboardy. There is some welcome barley sugar sweetness, but again it becomes drying which hampers the enjoyment. The spice tries to elevate the sweet fruit but it is blunted by the dry cardboard note which is a real shame.
Finish
Not bad and the sweeter fruit is still fighting to get out but there is not enough power at 70 proof for this to happen.

This is good in parts and it is always a pleasure to taste something out the ordinary but the flaws are there which affect the score, enjoyable all the same.
